It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvira Merchant of Cattaraugus, New York, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Haussler and Martha Haussler; and her brother Fred Haussler. She is survived by: her husband Howard Merchant; her children, Erik Merchant (Dana) of St. Joseph's and Heidi Kazmark (Terry) of East Otto; her grandchildren, Alyssa Dole, Ryan Dole (Lyndsay), Cameron Dole, Jessica Kazmark and Michele Schwartzott; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Everly, Gracelyn, Jace, Mia, Koda, Kynlee and Mason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Treat Memorial Cemetery in Leon, NYMemorials may be made to the Otto Lutheran Church.
