With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris M. Ackley of Cattaraugus, New York, born in Franklinville, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Doris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doris leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reese Reynolds and Pearl Reynolds (Morrison); and her siblings, Robert Perry, Ralph Reynolds, Betty Reynolds, Marjorie Perry, Hazel Freer and Ruth Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Ackley (Linda) of Lewis Run, PA and Nancy Westfall (Dale) of Cattaraugus. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
