He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spence and Versa Spence (Jeune); and his brother Robert Mosley. He is survived by: his wife Anne-Marie Farry Spence; his children, William Michael Spence (Sarah) of Athens and Lindsey Fonderoli (Geno) of Windermere, FL; his grandson William Jackson Spence of Athens; and his sisters, Anna McDermott (Mosley) of Troy and Martha Ingraham (Mosley) of Staatsburgh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
