It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Nagelschmidt of Catskill, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph R. Latimer and Francis Mabel Leab Latimer; her husband Donald A. Nagelschmidt; her sister Evelyn O'Rorke; and her daughters-in-law, Kathleen Nagelschmidt and Karen L. Nagelschmidt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ralph D. Latimer, Edith D. Kowalczyk and Beatrice Boucher; her children, George D. Nagelschmidt of The Villages, FL, Scott P. Nagelschmidt (MaryJo) of Sleepy Hollow and Deborah A. Bennett (John) of Swampscott, MA; her sister Louise VanLoan of Pittsfield, MA; her grandchildren, Courtney L. Balzotti (Michael), Matthew S. Nagelschmidt (Jordan), Paul Lasage, Meghan Valk and Brian Valk; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Aiden Balzotti, Reiss and Claudia Valk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
