He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ritter and Helen Ritter (Breunig); and his brother Dr. Joseph Ritter. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Ritter (MaGinn) of Catskill, NY; his daughter Helena Ritter DeSalvo (Steve) of Kingston, NY; his grandchildren, Daniel J. DeSalvo (Alyssa) and Emilie M. DeSalvo; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Grayce and Eleanore DeSalvo.
