He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Prestigiacomo and Elizabeth DeJoy Prestigiacomo; and his sister Frances Wheeler. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly H. Kelly Prestigiacomo; his child Kelly Ficarra of Jersey City; his grandchildren, Brieanne Vieco, Devon and Sean Ficarra; his great grandchild Scarlett Vieco; and his siblings, Michelina Maccarelli of Catskill, Andrew Prestigiacomo of Ballston Spa, Patrina Houghtaling and Manuella Bryce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
