She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Schafer and Theresa Schafer; her husband Peter; her daughter Anita Cenicola; her siblings, Alice, Roselle, Johanna, Walter and Rudolf; and her grandsons, Adam Rupeka and Kenneth Cenicola.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Carol Ann), Richard Rupeka (JoAnn), Edmond Rupeka (Carmen) and Marlena DeWitt (Robert). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
