He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Pike and Raymond Pike Jr.; and his brother Stephen (Donna). He is survived by: his children, Dean (Robin), Glenn (Fleda) of North Carolina and Jennifer Demarest (Nick); his siblings, Tom of Wappingers Falls, Brother John (Peggy) of Red Hook, Carol Versace and Ann Pallone of Poughkeepsie; his granddaughters, Amanda, Katherine, Grace and Annabelle; his friend Chuck; and his wife Donna. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He saved the life of a man in an airport while on vacation and his story was featured in the 2006 American Heart Association's Annual Report.
