He is survived by: his spouse Jean Couser of Catskill; his children, Courtney Johnson Parish (Jeffery) of Catskill and Lyn Johnson Cear (Steven) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Parish, Isabella Cear and Samantha Cear; his siblings, Doris Couser of Catskill, Teresa Couser of Catskill, Lyza Zeppetello (Joseph), Saugerties and Ida Acompora of North Carolina; and his pet Avery.
