It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis H. Lyon of Cato, New York, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Phyllis may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Lyon and Harriet Lyon; and her brother Roy Lyon. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Stampp of Auburn and Robert Stampp (Agnes) of Weedsport; her siblings, James Lyon (Patricia) of North Carolina and Maverete Lincoln (Carl) of Cato; her granddaughter Melissa Stampp; and her friend Linda Cuff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
