He is survived by: his children, John Sears (Becky) of Cooperstown, Laurie Farinas of California, Joseph Sears (Janine) of Auburn and Kelly Sears (Ellery Emert) of Cato. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
