It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Zehr (Castorland, New York), who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William A. Zehr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Milton Zehr, Gerald Zehr (Angeline), Edward Zehr, Joseph Zehr (Julia) and Arletha O'Kay (Neil); his brothers-in-law, Royal, Kenneth and Richard Widrick (Jane); and his parents, Aaron Zehr and Nina Noftsier Zehr.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Widrick; his children, Donna (Dennis McCarthy), Donald D. (Pam Zehr), Dale Zehr (Amy Steiner) of Carthage, Dennis Zehr of Sebastian, FL, Douglas (Janet Zehr), Daniel (Holly Zehr) and Darcy Bodle (Andrew Schaab) of Lowville; and his siblings-in-law, Ada Zehr of Lowville, Sandy Zehr of Carthage, Wayne Widrick of Watertown, Gordon Widrick (Margarette) of Croghan, LaVerne Terrillion (Tom) of Montana, Arlene Widrick of Castorland and Lila Widrick of Croghan. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
