He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Benson); his children, Ryan Fowler (Winter Park Florida), Roger Schlafer, Brent Schlafer (Belinda) and Randi Fowler (Shelbyville Indiana); his grandchildren, Brylee Fowler and Wyatt Atwood; his sister Clea Denny; his stepbrother Robert Bush; and his pet Lucy.
