She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth L. Burkee; and her parents, Bernard Peterson and Elizabeth Peterson. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth L. Burkee II of Castle Creek, James Burkee (Tammy) of Whitney Point, Daniel L. Burkee (Holly) of Binghamton and Donald L. Burkee of Oneonta; her grandchildren, Joseph, Leanne Burkee, Tyler Slater, Alyssa Frank, Kaleb and Briella Burkee; and her siblings, Oleta Youngs, Virginia Peterson and Pete Peterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
