It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol H. Smith of Cassville, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hemmel and Stella Hemmel; her husband Gerald Smith; her parents-in-law, Ruth and Robert Dye; her sister Jean Toper; her brother-in-law Roger Bartlett; her nieces, Brenda and Susan Toper; and her nephew Charles Mahaffy.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Elaine, Charles Gaiser, Roderick and Dolores Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Cassville Fire Department.
