It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas P. Verleni of Cassadaga, New York, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perickles Verleni and Venetria Stogionedis Verleni; his son Timothy Egan; and his siblings, Vangel, Gust, Dr. Thomas Verleni and Agnes Verleni Spiro.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Linamen Verleni; and his children, Lucinda Conley of Tucson, AZ, Nick Verleni (Diane) of Cassadaga, NY, Nicolette Verleni McCandless of Jamestown, Van Verleni (Yolanda) of Jamestown, Jackie Porsley of Buffalo, Roberta Egan of Jamestown, Patricia Trueblood of Andrew, NC, Denise Kriebel (Lonnie) of Pennsylvania, Jacquelyn Scott of Pennsylvania, Leslie Rankin (Mike) of Pennsylvania, Barry Francisco (Lisa) of Albany, NY and Mike Fransisco (Linda) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Due to the restrictions of the pandemic a private service will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with only family in attendance.
