He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kaus and Genevieve Kaus (Kaleta). He is survived by: his children, Zachary (Sarah) of West Seneca, Amy Williams (Graham) of Williamsville, Mike Smith (Sarah) of Forestville and Sarah Johnson (Chris) of Hilton Head, S. C.; his grandchildren, Madison Kaus, Caleb Kaus, Ivy Williams, Roman Williams, Landon Smith, Lexi Smith and Tyra Sundquist; his wife Sandy Kaus (Smith); and his siblings, Robert (Pat), David, Cynthia Perez (Carlos), Terry (Karen) and Daniel (late Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
