He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Boone and Clara Boone (Liedke); his wife Sherry Robbins; his daughter Ashley; and his sister Joyce DelVecchio. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for contributions to be made to your local non-profit organizations or the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, with whom Richard participated as a citizen scientist for Project FeederWatch.
