He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Renaud and Elizabeth A. Renaud (Shortt); his siblings, Frederick (Shirley), Joseph and Anne; and his nephew Sean.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine R. Perry; and his sons, Richard and Thomas (Tina). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and a great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Carthage Area Rescue Squad.
