She was predeceased by: her former husband Matthew Buckley; her parents-in-law, Bob and Elsie Brotherton; and her brother-in-law Fred Brotherton. She is survived by: her parents, Randy Newman and Cheryl Newman (Segovis); her children, Andrew Jordan Smith (Marissa Murphy) and Alexis Ann Smith (Billy Norton); her husband James Brotherton; her stepchildren, Derek Smith, Shane Brotherton and Megan Brotherton; her granddaughter Claire Brotherton; her sister Kim Ruel (David); her nephews, Ian and Cole DePuy; her brother Bob; her sisters-in-law, Tammy Brotherton, Sherri and Kelly Brotherton; and her nephew Joshua Brotherton. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Randi has requested that donations be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
