He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Lyman Tifft and Dolly Stone; his wife Mary Traylor; his children, Charles Peterson of Massachusetts, Norma Russell (Kevin) of Pownal, Norman Tifft (Deborah) of Pownal, David Tifft (Rebecca Robinson) of Syracuse, Roger Tifft (Christine) of Bennington, VT, Leona Robitille (Shawn) of Watertown and Annie Hatch (Mike) of Mansville; and his sisters, Dorothy of Bennington and Shirley of Nevada. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Due to Covid – 19 Protocols, everyone is required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home.
