She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Ann Schermerhorn (Gill); and her grandparents, Charles, Annabell Gill, George and Ella Schermerhorn.
She is survived by: her father Charles W. Schermerhorn of Carthage; her children, Auna Smith (Josh) of Evans Mills and David Hickman Jr. of Carthage; her siblings, Charles H. "Chuck" Schermerhorn (Lori) of Carthage, Amanda A. Foust (Ron) of Palestine, Texas, Robin R. Godlewski (Guy) of Natural Bridge and Contanita M. Bevens (George) of Carthage; and her grandson Lucas Smith. She is also survived by seven nieces, five nephews and several great-neices and great-nephews.
