Merle Yancey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2022, at the age of 68, Merle Yancey in Carthage, New York, born in Watertown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Juanita Rose Yancey; and his parents, Gerald M. Yancey and Lena Lyndaker Yancey. He is survived by: his children, Michael P. Yancey of Lowville, Alissa N. Yancey of Hawaii and Kenneth G. (Marissa Yancey); his siblings, Jerry M. (Nancy Wherley Yancey), Dean R. (Wanda Macedo Yancey), Dr. Samuel P. Yancey of Croghan, Violet (Michael J. Colwell), Orson P. Yancey of New Market, NH, Annette Halko (Paul Brown) of Naumburg and Paula (Nathan Zehr); his cousin Yancey Combining; and his wife Donna Bills. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
