It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Williams of Carthage, New York, born in Canastota, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn "Tootie" (Schwendy) and Bockinheim (Buckingham); her daughters, Kathleen Marie Williams and Linda Mary Williams; her grandson Corey Joseph Williams; and her brothers, Richard, Gilbert, Ambrose, Glen, Ronald and Anthony Buckingham.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Williams (Janice) of Croghan, Thomas Williams (Diane Bush) of Beaver Falls, Wayne Williams of West Carthage and David Williams (Jill) of Carthage; her sisters, Rose Ball of West Carthage, Anna Rigabar of West Carthage and Betty Buckingham of Rochester; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Williams Clemons (Ernie), Marilyn Bauer Williams, Harold Williams and Patricia Buckingham of Massachusetts. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary in Carthage.
