We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2024, at the age of 68, Marie Ann Eighmey of Carthage, New York, born in Watertown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Donihee and Sally Donihee (Mathys). She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Eighmey of Oxford, CT and Thomas Eighmey (Jackie) of Wakefield, MA.; her grandchildren, Addelyn Eighmey, Jayden Eighmey, Thomas Chang and Donovan Chang; and her aunt Mary Jane Mathys of Beaver Falls.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home (518 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bassett-Baxter American Legion (415 West St, Carthage, NY 13619).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marie's name to Anchor Recovery Center of Northern New York, 241 State St. Watertown, NY13601, with checks made payable to Pivot.
