He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton F. Covey and Edna L. Covey (Clemons). He is survived by: his wife Karen Montgomery; his children, Lonn Covey (Anne) of Carthage, Scott Covey of Carthage and Kristine Colunga of Front Royal, Virginia; his siblings, Carol Allen (Phil) of Lewis, Sharon Thompson of Scotland, Connecticut and Wayne Covey of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Brandon, Cassandra, Logan and Kira; and his great grandchildren, Kiera, Kia and Aria.
