She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hicks and Lillian Hicks; and her brothers, Robert and Norman Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Richard Prievo; her children, Steven Prievo (Georgina Hegney), Kathleen (Jim Clark), Brenda (Richard Cross), Ernest (Cheryl Prievo), Barbara Prievo and Michael (Debra Prievo); and her sister Mary Lou Embrey of Hope Mills. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
