He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Martel and Jean Jenderski Martel; his daughter Veronica Martel; and his granddaughter Catherine Hocter. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mills; his daughter Keri Nelson; his stepchildren, LeeAnn Tedford and Terry Beach II (Alyssa) of Virginia; his sister Laura (Chuck); and his siblings-in-law, Dawn Mills (Suzanne) and Gary Mills (Chris) of Watertown. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
