It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Katherine Rich of Carthage, New York, born in Catskill, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry C. Teich and Emily Meidling Teich of Leeds, N. Y.; her husband Robert C. Rich; and her siblings, Thomas L. Teich of Freehold, NY and Margaret Adine Wilder of Burlington, NC..
She is survived by: her sons, R. Thomas Rich of San Diego, CA and Kevin A. Rich of Candia, NH; and her granddaughters, Hannah, Emily, Melissa and Rachael.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Rich's memory to the United Community Church in Carthage, New York, or to the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation.
