He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ginger and Irene Ginger Sr. (Gyingyelegan); and his siblings, Peter Ginger Jr. and Margaret A. Brotherton. He is survived by: his wife Georgette Ginger of Carthage; his son James Ginger Jr. (Little Jimmy); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Nier of Carthage, Janet Rushlow of Carthage and Thomas Brotherton of Carthage. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
