With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Gates (Carthage, New York), who passed away on October 9, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son David; and her sister Evelyn Potter. She is survived by: her parents, Laura LaLonde and Glenn Pierce; her husband Harry R. Gates; her sons, Daniel (Candy) and Michael (Debbie); and her sister Marylyn Burto (Peanut). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, 100 E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134.
