With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Oscar Ames of Carthage, New York, born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ames and Marion Ames (Walton); and his sister Audrey Britton (Paul). He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Bezanilla; his sons, Jeffrey Ames (Kellie) of Deferiet and Mark Ames (Marguerite) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Mariana, Spencer and Samantha Ames; and his brother Howard Ames (Sandy) of Black River. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
