She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Perley Emery and Pearl Emery (Miller); her husband George Mathar; her children, Jennifer (Carl) of Corning, NY and Joseph of Carthage, NY; her grandchildren, Catherine (Dallas), Hayle, Caitlyn, Cole and Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Niklaus and Landon; and her siblings, Donald Emery (Bonnie), Delia Ann Wheaton, Barbara Aikens, Caroll Smith (David), Dolly Slusarick, Sam, Chester and Pearl.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (320 W Lynde St, Watertown, NY 13601).
