He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou (Gingerich); and his son Lyndall. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Burkholder (Lynette) of Carthage, Jonathan Burkholder of Lancaster, Leland Burkholder (Twila) of Farmington and Amy Schunk (Jason) of Augusta. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandin Mennonite Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grandin Mennonite Cemetery.
