He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schermerhorn and Ella Schermerhorn (Bartell); his siblings, Linda Gill (Louie), Gloria Schermerhorn, George Schermerhorn, Keith Schermerhorn and Gail Schermerhorn; and his sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Schermerhorn and Shirley Schermerhorn.
He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Schermerhorn (Betty), John Schermerhorn, Chuck Schermerhorn, Mark Schermerhorn (Cindy), David Schermerhorn and Lester Schermerhorn (Peggy "Hosmer"); and his sister-in-law Sharon Schermerhorn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
