With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice M. Wood in Carthage, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Towne and Christine Towne (Mealus). She is survived by: her husband John A. Wood; her children, John Wood Jr. (South), Jeffrey Wood (Kathy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kenneth Wood (late Debbie) of Carthage, NY and Dawn Hoops of Ohio; and her sister Jane Boyce (Richard) of Croghan, NY. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no public calling hours and services will be held privately by the family.
