He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cromer, Sr. and Harriet Clemons Cromer; his wife Betty Bowler Cromer; and his siblings, Kenneth Cromer and Leona Gray.
He is survived by: his children, James Cromer (Bobbie) of Malta and Vanessa Sheppard (Frank) of Gloversville; his grandchildren, Jennifer Caputo (Chris), Marc Hickok (Kate), John Darnell (Anne), Kimberly Robben, Frank Sheppard (Nikki) and Stephanie Sheppard; and his great grandchildren, Cort McDonough, Molly McDonough, Remy McDonough, Sofia Darnell, Cailee Caputo, Anthony Caputo, William Sheppard, Weston Sheppard and Alya Bergman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
