Best of Caroga Lake, New York, born in Gloversville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Grant and Margaret Grant (Riley); her husband K. Donald Best; her son Timothy Best; and her sisters, Margaret LaVada, Florence Romaine and Dawn Rava.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Best (Kelli) of Florida, Gary Best (Stephanie) of Florida and Pamela Brockhum (James) of Gloversville; her daughter-in-law Carmella Best; her grandchildren, Tricia Hillock (Matt), Shari Ybarra (Rocky), Kristine Orr (Scott Jacques), Stacey Palmer (Jon), Peter Orr (Megan), James Brockhum (Jasmine) and Megan Boles (Josh); her great grandchildren, Colton Hillock and Makenna Orr; and her sister Caroline Snell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her memory to The Caroga Lake Fire Department because she loved her.
