She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hazzard and Alice Loveless; her sisters, Frances Fagent and Carolyn Oare; and her half-brother Virgil Hazzard Jr..
She is survived by: her husband John V. Oare; her sister Virginia Briggs (Ray) of Gloversville; and her half-brother James Hazzard (Laurie Yerdon) of Cherry Valley. She is also survived by her six children and their spouses.
