It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Bassett (Caroga Lake, New York), born in Schoharie, New York, who passed away on October 17, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Peter F. Bassett; and her daughters, Cheryl LaPointe (Mark) of Hampton, Lisa Derochie (Jon) and Wendy Lunt (Robert) of New Paltz. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great- grand children.
