He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Abdella and Sophie Rosen Abdella; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his daughter Sophie; his son-in-law Brian McDermott; his son Bob; his daughter-in-law Erica Abdella; his sister Eleanor; his brother-in-law Gabe Doumato; his brother Robert Abdella; and his grandchildren, George Abdella, Cameron Abdella, Colin McDermott and Abby McDermott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
