He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Zito (Audrey Solomon); his aunt Marlene Elia; his niece Helena Zito Johnson; his nephew Michael Zito; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Curtis, Kellie, Heather and Joseph.
In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made in Richard's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
