He is survived by: his wife Florence McCarthy (McElroy); his siblings, Joseph McCarthy, Jr. of White Plains, NY and Evelyn Maloney of Stamford, CT; his nephews, Sean and Edward, Jr. (Annie); and his great-nephews, Theodore and James.
