She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sniadack and Ruth Sniadack. She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Red" Roode; her brother David Sniadack; her daughters, Laura Lamanti and Antoinette Ramos; her grandsons, Anthony and Nicholas Mazzucca; and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Maximus Mazzucca. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home (15 Church St, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
