He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Capaldi and Grace Capaldi; his wife Josephine (Randelli); his daughter Angela Tompkins; his sons-in-law, James Tompkins and Sebby DiCaro; and his siblings, Louis Capaldi and Anna Lee.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan DiCaro of Florida and Joann Sprague (Tommy) of Poughquag, NY.; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jonathan, Rachel and Christina; and his great grandchild Autumn Tompkins.
