It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McDermott III in Carmel, New York, born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. McDermott Jr. and Florence Ward McDermott; his brother David McDermott (Susan); his children, Ronnie McDermott, Jackie McDermott and Cathy McDermott; his grandchildren, Alecia McDermott, Dana Petty, Amber Petty, Laton Petty, Joseph McDermott and Susie McDermott; his great grandchildren, Penelope Brunelle, Skyler Brown and Michael Gregory; and his stepson Robert Figueroa.
