JoAnne Russo Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 77, JoAnne Russo (Carmel, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though JoAnne has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home (15 Church St, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the Russo family requests memorial donations to be made to American Cancer Society or Vietnam Veterans of America.
