It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Spiridigliozzi of Carmel, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrico Ferriello and Angelamarie (Martucci); her husband John B. Spiridigliozzi; her siblings, Louis Ferriello, Ralph Ferriello, Gesolmina "Jessie" Morando, Filomena "Dolly" Schaustal and Nicholas Ferriello; her sons-in-law, Anthony Fischetti and Douglas Hastings; and her stepgrandson Andrew Prokutko.

She is survived by: her daughters, Angelamarie Zeolla (Joseph), Johanna Herder (Michael), Carol Fischetti and Tonya Hastings; her grandchildren, Christina, Teresa Jean, John William, John Michael, Francesca, Thomas, Genevieve, Alberta, Joseph, Georgia and Katherine; her great grandchildren, Richard, Allison, Kevin, Christopher, Thomas, Matthew, Terrence, Leah, Lyle Marisa, Mallory, Jacob, Elena, Aiden, Caleb and Julia; her great great grandchildren, Shelby and Abby; her stepgranddaughter Brianna Fisher; her stepgreat-grandson Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Spiridigliozzi (Maryanne) and Yolanda Carnicella.

Not one to stay retired, Jean continued to stay busy and went on to work with the Alzheimer's Association, Brewster which eventually led to a new career as a home health aide, assisting the elderly until she was in her 80s.
