We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2022, at the age of 97, Eleanor Mickelsen in Carmel, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wheeler and James Wheeler (Raymond Mickelsen); her brother James Wheeler; and her daughter-in-law Doreen Mickelsen. She is survived by: her brother Billy; her husband Raymond Mickelsen; her siblings, Joan McNally Keating and William Wheeler; and her children, Patricia, Donald Melone, Thomas, Phyllis Mickelsen, Edward Mickelsen (Michelle Spano), John, Rose Mickelsen, Eric, Lorraine Mickelsen, Karen, Jeff Cavagnaro, Susan, James Byrnes and Joan Mickelsen (Pat Hanning). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Friends of Carmel", 88 Old Town Road, Staten Island, NY 10304. Your donations will go directly to the residents of Carmel Richmond.
