He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Michele Mangini-Vendel; his child Madison; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Joyce Mangini; his parents, Georgette Stringer and Thomas Vendel; his sisters, Erin and Emily Stringer; his sister-in-law Jennifer DiBenedetto (Anthony); and his niece Mia.

In lieu of flowers, donation's in Curtis' memory can be made to benefit the education of Madison Vendel.
